Red chair
Duality between the uncomfortable and comfortable, the old and new.
Bauhaus started as an experiment, a new radical way of thinking. Inspired by the early mentality that viewd the world from a different perspective, during this school assignment i explored ways to bring life to an old chair. The dissassembled parts, the old zig-zag springs and materials alien to furniture deisgn (cable ties, ropes, harness) provided an exiting challenge. The tension in the springs formed a pillow like shape, in a way it represents duality between the comfortable and uncomfortable, the old and new.
